Health and Nutrition Renovations Completed

Since May 2023, Surry County Health and Nutrition Center has undergone extensive renovations to improve
efficiency and create a welcoming atmosphere for all. We are proud to announce that the renovations have
been completed and clinics will begin to move back to the ground floor of the Main Building. 

In order to complete the move, the following clinics will be closed on Thursday, May 16th:
• Lab and Immunizations
• Adult Primary Care
• Adult Behavioral Health
• Women’s Preventative Health
Additionally, the following clinics will be closed on Friday, May 17th for moving day:
• Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program
• Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) Program
• Diabetes Self-Management Education and Support Program

Pediatrics and Dental will continue to operate in their usual location; however, starting May 20th, all of the
other clinics including Lab, Immunizations, Adult Primary Care, Adult Behavioral Health, Women’s Preventative
Services, Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Program, Medical Nutrition Therapy, Diabetes Self-Management
Education and Support Program will be located in SCHNC’s Main Health building. Maps and signage will be
clearly displayed throughout campus to assist patients in finding their destination. SCHNC will reopen for
normal business hours, 8:15AM-5:00PM with early morning clinic appointments available starting at 7:30am
for Main Health clinics, on Monday, May 20th, 2024.
